This series is a B-rate “Whistler” rip-off, but for some reason I like it. The plots are basically the same, featuring a man of dubious morals pushed past the point of no return by a femme fatale. The narrator, “Fate,” is a portentous, heavy-handed version of the Whistler. Many of these episodes are genuinely disturbing despite the predictable plots. Try “Edward Matthews” or “Trina Crowley” to start with.
