We open with Marshal Matt Dillon who is having Wanted posters printed. The murderer tried to rob a bank, killed the cashier and a Chinese cook "who just happened to be there". The suspect is Clay Richards, aged 31. Dillon's assistant Chester arrives and tells him that a little boy is locked in the cells - ran away from home. Clay Richards is found soon after and he swears he is innocent and claims he doesn't even own a gun so couldn't have murdered him. An autopsy concludes that he didn't die from a gunshot but was stabbed. Is Clay Richards innocent or guilty? And what is the significance of the boy who ran away from home? You just might be surprised what happens in Dodge City..
